Burial stones for Mum and Dad, in Hayes churchyard.

photo

We were there for a ceremony to bury Auntie Flo's ashes along with Mum and Dad's. This photo of her was taken some time in the 1990s.

95 Bourne Way as it is today. The oak tree that Mum and Dad planted in the back garden as a six-inch seedling, when the house was new in 1934, is now a good bit taller than the house.

Left: badminton in the back garden of 95 Bourne Way in the 1930s. Two young sumac trees are growing by the fence, and the little oak tree can just be seen between them. Right: 99 Bourne Way soon after it was built to Grandpa Bagnall's design.
